Amy Pollack is the creative director of Twist’nShout, a Swarthmore-based communications firm. She has worked more than 25 years as a graphic designer and art director. Before starting her own design firm, she was an art director at Young and Rubicam International, Inc. in New York, where she worked on such accounts as Gillette, General Foods, Warner Lambert, Dr Pepper and Johnson & Johnson. At Ogilvy and Mather in New York, her clients included Avon, TWA, Kimberly-Clark, Lever Brothers, General Foods, Hathaway, Clairol and Par Parfums. She also was art director at WTAF-TV 29 in Philadelphia, senior art director at Weightman Advertising Inc. in Philadelphia, and design associate at Cygnus Publications Inc.

An award-winning designer, her areas of expertise include servicing non-profit health organizations, Jewish non-profits and education clients.

She earned a B.F.A. with honors from Washington University School of Art in St. Louis and received training at the Rhode Island School of Design, the School of Visual Arts in New York and the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Recently she earned a master’s certificate in internet marketing from the University of San Francisco. In this program, she studied integrated online strategies including social media, web analytics, affiliate marketing, pay-per-click advertising and SEO.

Ryan Brandenberg is a full-time photographer for Temple University and a photojournalist in Philadelphia. A regular freelance contributor to local and national newspapers, he earned his bachelor’s degree in photojournalism from the University of Pittsburgh and his master’s degree in documentary photography from Temple.

Jennifer Sweeney
Jennifer Sweeney has been proofreading and editing advertising and marketing copy for agencies and public relations firms for nearly two decades. Her clients have run the gamut from legal, medical, engineering and the U.S. military to education, business-to-business and the X Games.

She earned a bachelor of arts degree in English from La Salle University, and currently assists Temple University’s Creative Services department, proofreading and editing the university’s marketing materials. She also has written two cover features for Temple University’s magazine, Temple Review.

Stephan Rosenfeld, the head of Identity Advisors, is an authority on strategic-risk communications, civic engagement and media relations. Serving as a principal consultant to clients in the public and private sectors, his major areas of concentration include executive communications training, infection prevention/control communications, emergency planning and response, labor and employment relations, and legal affairs. Rosenfeld, whose early career was spent as a print and broadcast journalist, has held a number of senior positions in the private and public sectors. These include press secretary & special assistant to Pennsylvania Attorney General Edward G. Biester Jr. and assistant general manager of the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA).

Hannah Shaffer
Hannah Shaffer is fluent in Final Cut Pro and Adobe Flash. She also works in After Effects (motion graphics/visual effects), Dreamweaver (Web design), and Fireworks (Web graphics). She learned XHTML and CSS through a top-down approach, by deconstructing existing websites and templates. She has since become well versed in these languages, and enjoys the challenge of creating Web sites from scratch.

Hannah Shaffer graduated from Hampshire College in 2009 with a double concentration in video and women’s studies.
